Our practice is a general dentistry practice. Dr. Lance P. Martin's practice is affilicated with the Spring Valley Dental Group located in O'Fallon, IL. We practice "family dentistry" - providing dental care to all ages. We consider our care "patient centered". Our practice provides individual attention to the needs and preferences for each patient. Dr. Martin and his staff keep up to date with the latest developments in patient care - and provide the highest quality of care. From our O'Fallon, Illinois location we provide care in all areas of dentistry to families living in the St. Louis Metro-East area.

Dr. Lance P. Martin, D.M.D.

Dr. Lance Martin was born and raised in the St. Louis suburban area.  He graduated from Pattonville High School in 1987.  He was accepted into dental school after just two years of undergraduate training. In 1993 he received his diploma from SIU School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating, he spent the following two years in various dental offices.  In 1995, Dr. Martin opened his first practice in his home town and served his patients for over five years.  In 2000, Dr. Martin sold his Bridgeton practice and joined Spring Valley Dental Group in O’Fallon IL. 

Dr. Martin has been a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society and is currently the president of the St. Clair Study Club.

In his spare time he enjoys playing casual sports, fishing, learning about alternative power sources, and tinkering around his O’Fallon home, that he shares with his wife, Kirsten, their two young children and a Black Lab.  

Cathy (Certified Dental Assistant)

Cathy has been with the Spring Valley Dental Group since 1988. (add info of background, previous doctors, special interests, etc. She is responsible for helping with the dental care of our patients. She works chairside with Dr. Martin to make each visit as pleasant and efficient as possible. She maintains and sterilizes all of the materials that are used to provide the highest quality dental care. Cathy is an expert in patient comfort and will do what she can to make each visit as pleasant as possible.


Debbie (Registered Dental Hygienists:)

Debbie has been with the Spring Valley Dental Group since 2006. As a Dental Hygiene specialist, she assists patients in achieving a healthy mouth. She provides teeth cleaning, gum disease treatment and prevention. Preventive services include flouride treatments and sealants, stain removal and polishing, diagnostic radiographs, cavity detection, oral cancer screening, oral hygiene instruction, dispensing of home care materials, tooth whitening systems, breath improvement, and general patient education. She will assist you in understanding your dental needs and explaining the treatment that is necessary to achieve and maintain optimum oral health.

Our Patient Coordinator has been with the Spring Valley Dental Group since 2006. As our patient coordinator, she will assist you in the following areas: scheduling initial and follow-up dental appointments, filing insurance claims, coordinating visits with other specialists, making payments, providing receipts for payments, explaining payment options, making phone contacts, and giving directions to our O'Fallon dental office.
